Driving on 245/45 R19 wheels

  • Hello, is there anyone here who drives both in summer and winter on 245/45 R19? I have a Tucson, year 2019, 1.6T-GDI 130kw 4x4. My concern is that my 17-inch set of winter tires and 18-inch set of summer tires are at the end of their life, so I'm thinking about changing wheels. I'm curious if it's not very hard and how 245s behave in winter. On 17-inch 225/60 winter tires, I sometimes feel that it's a little floating in corners. The 60 sidewall is comfortable, but it's as if the car is floating on a wet surface. Summer 225/55 18s in summer are fine, it doesn't show up there at all. I'm still thinking about the 18-inch winter and 19-inch summer tires. Thank you for your advice and opinions.

I only use all-season tires in 245/45R19 and I'm happy with the ride.

I can imagine that 225/60R17 tires are softer, but when do you drive in a way that makes cornering spongy (they're winter tires)?
